Day 01:
Cusco-Mollepata-Soraypampa
Early in the morning departure by bus from Cusco and arrival to the small village of Mollepata (3000 MASL), where we start the trek. (3400 m), we have a spectacular view from Cruz Pata. Camp at the foot of the impressive Salkantay, (6271 m) Humantay (5217 MASL) and Soraypampa (3700 MASL)
6 hours walking in a cold climate.

Day 02:
Soraypampa - Salkantay Pass (4600 MASL) - Arrayaniyuq
Hardest day of the Salkantay trek. Here begins our descent: we admire the Andean highlands and the beginning of the high forest (Yunga). At Araynniyuq (3400m) is located the camp.
7 hours walking in a cold climate.

Day 03:
Arayanniyuq - Wiñaypoco (2750m) - La Playa (1950m)
Descent towards the division between Humantay and Santa Teresa (1900 MASL). Arrival to Wiñaypoco (2750 MASL) and camp at La Playa (2100 MASL)
6 hours walking in a hot climate

Day 04:
La Playa - Llactapata (2950m) - Machu Picchu Pueblo (2040m)
We start our journey, using the connection of the famous Inca Trail to the archaeological complex of Llactapata (2950 MASL) descend to the Central Hydro-electric (1850 MASL). The local train will take us in a 30 minutes trip to Aguas Calientes (2040 MASL), the small tourist town built at the foot of the Machu Picchu mountain.

Day 05:
Machu Picchu - Cusco
Transfer by bus to the Machu Picchu citadel and guided tour. Return to Aguas Calientes and return by train to Poroy. Transfer to the hotel in Cusco.
